Who are we?
We (Animal Friends organization, Jurisiceva 25, 10 000 Zagreb, Croatia, info@zegevege.com) are organizators of ZeGeVege festival of sustainable living, and as such we commit to protect your personal data based on the General Regulation on Personal Data Protection (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 as detailed below in this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “the Policy”).

The Policy refers to the protection of privacy and data security of all our participants of the festival (exhibitors, volubnteers, sponsors, etc.), in other words, all users of sservices and all people who come into contact with us. This policy is applicable to our website www.zegevege.com, services, applications, and employees.

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you of our data collection and protection, the purpose for which the data is used, your access to that data and it’s modification or requirement for removal of data.

Since periodic changes are possible over time in our work, please periodically check this Policy for possible updates. People we come into contact with directly during communication regarding the festival will be notified about the latest version of Policy as part of direct communication.

What are your personal data?
Personal data is all data (or combinations of the same) that can be used to identify someone’s personal identity (first and last name, name of company / association, personal identification or tax number, postal address, e-mail, phone / cell phone number, etc.).

For what purposes do we use them?
We collect data to ensure the provision of the requested service (applications for participation in festival, volunteering, sponsorship of the festival, etc.). That is, in order to provide more effective answers to your inquiry and arrangement of possible future collaboration.

What are your rights?

  • Transparency – Receive from us information about what your data is used for, for what purposes, what your rights are regarding given data, which is all outlined in this Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
  • Access to data – upon your request, we will give you confirmation if we have some of your personal data, insight into them if we process them, and explanation for what purpose we have them, storage time, etc.
  • Right to correction – If any of your personal data has changed or you believe it is inaccurate, please let us know and we will correct them, according to the purpose for which they were collected. For instance, the change of the email address of the person of company, the change of the name of the company, change of postal address, etc.
  • Deleting data (“The right to be forgotten”) – On your request, we will permanently delete your information. Exceptions are the cases in which we are legally obliged to keep the data.
  • Right to transferability or limitation of data processing – Your right is to request that we transfer your personal data to others in the format in which they can be used. Also, you may request a limit on data processing. For example, you do not want us to completely delete your data, but you do not want us to process them further. Data processing may also be restricted if the accuracy of data is disputed or is suspected of being used in an unlawful manner.
  • Right to objection – You have the right to file a complaint against the processing of personal data if you feel they are being treated inappropriately, illegally or you suspect on automated decision-making (automatic computer processing without human supervision). We invite you to contact us to solve the problem.

How long do we keep your data?
From the time you contact us or submit your data to us in any way, you give us permission to to use them for the purposes for which you have submitted them, up to time until that purpose ends, unless otherwise provided by the law (documentation mandatory by law, etc). If you change your mind about the reason you contacted us about at some point, feel free to request the removal of the data before that period (e.g. ceising your interest for exhibiting at the festival, giving up on volunteering, etc.) as we will do within the earliest possible time.

What are our obligations?
We collect and process your personal data in accordance with the currently applicable legal provisions.
It is our duty to protect them, keep it in an appropriate manner, securing confidentiality and without forwarding it to third parties without your express permission.

We only collect data voluntarily submitted to us. When we ask you for your data (leaving you free choice if you want to give them to us for the performing of our service or the need in question), we do not ask for more information than is necessary.

In case of accidental error, technical difficulties or other unintended circumstances that would violate the protection of your data, we guarantee to correct the error as soon as possible.

Websites and online data
In order to provide the best services to our users, our website (like many other websites today) uses computer systems that monitor the site visit and number of views of YouTube videos of the festival which when integrated in website. Such data is not intended to collect more information from you other than helping us to find out how many visitors visit our website, how many people have seen the video of festival, etc.
Data is collected exclusively for generating general statistics and not for personally tracking individual users.

As authors of our website we reserve the right to modify or terminate our website.

E-mail messages
When you contact us by e-mail or website application form, submitting your personal data in that way, we use your data solely in order to answer your inquiries.

Use of cookies
In order to give you a better user experience, our website stores your cookies.
Cookies are small text files that Internet browsers store on your computer when you visit our website, in order to provide additional functionality for the websites. For example, cookies are in charge of remembering your preference when choosing the language versions of our website which is bilingual.
