Over 40,000 visitors, 32 performers and 75 exhibitors from last year\u2019s ZeGeVege festival are guaranteed to be at this year\u2019s 7th ZeGeVege Festival of Sustainable Living.<\/p>\n

Friday September 5, 2014 (9 A.M. – 9 P.M.) and Saturday September 6, 2014 (9 A.M. – 7 P.M.) are good days to be in Zagreb, because it is time for a festival that celebrates life! This international event is interesting, fun and educational, and important in promoting sustainable living, i.e. the welfare of people, the environment and animals.<\/p>\n

Over 80 domestic and foreign exhibitors of healthy food, eco products and cosmetics that have not been tested on animals will be at this year\u2019s two day ZeGeVege Festival for the first time. The festival will be visited on Friday by Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic, and on Saturday by Croatian president Ivo Josipovic.<\/p>\n

Numerous musicians, dance groups and performers that support sustainable living and animal rights will rotate each day, during a 22-hour musical and entertainment program on stage and throughout Trg bana Jelacica where ZegeVege Festival is held.<\/p>\n

Restaurants offering vegan meals, free beauty and hair treatments, a variety of sampling and promotional sales, cooking workshops, eco-innovations, lectures, a children’s corner with workshops for children, screenings of documentaries, a raffle and the like guarantee to all visitors that the seventh ZeGeVege Festival will offer them good entertainment and a two-day gathering, with the possibility of obtaining information about sustainable living.<\/p>\n

This unique festival in Croatia, where products exclusively of plant-based origin are exhibited and supported, promotes sustainable living, and a way of life that does not harm the environment, the life of other animals and the welfare of other people. In the long term, this way of life enables the survival of plant and animal species, biodiversity, natural balance and peaceful coexistence between all living beings on the planet.<\/p>\n

This year, exhibitors from Germany, Austria, Slovenia and Serbia are also expected. All visitors will receive an educational brochure, and the work of non-profit organizations and environmental family farmers will also be presented. ZeGeVege Festival is part of the international event Veganmania held in Vienna, Munich and fifteen other European cities.<\/p>\n

ZeGeVege Festival is organized by Animal Friends on a non-profit basis. Therefore we invite everyone interested in volunteering at the ZeGeVege Festival to complete an application form at www.zegevege.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In addition to the Office of the Croatian President and the Office of the Mayor of Zagreb, support for the ZeGeVege Festival was given by the City Office for Agriculture and Forestry, City Office for Health, Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund, Croatian Chamber of Economy \u2013 Tourism Sector, City Office for Economy, Labour and Enterprises, Croatian Environment Agency, Croatian Agricultural Agency, City Office for Agriculture and Forestry, City Office for Energy, Environment Protection and Sustainable Development, and The Zagreb Tourist Board.<\/p>\n

Petak, 5. rujna (9-21 sat) i subota, 6. rujna (9-19 sati) 2014. godine dani su kada je dobro biti u Zagrebu jer vrijeme je za festival koji slavi \u017eivot! Ova me\u0111unarodna manifestacija zanimljiva je, zabavna i edukativna te zna\u010dajna u promicanju odr\u017eivog na\u010dina \u017eivljenja, odnosno dobrobiti ljudi, okoli\u0161a i \u017eivotinja.<\/p>\n

Preko 80 doma\u0107ih i inozemnih izlaga\u010da zdrave hrane, ekolo\u0161kih proizvoda i kozmetike koja nije testirana na \u017eivotinjama predstavit \u0107e se na ovogodi\u0161njem dvodnevnom ZeGeVege festivalu kojeg \u0107e u petak posjetiti gradona\u010delnik grada Zagreba Milan Bandi\u0107, a u subotu predsjednik Republike Hrvatske Ivo Josipovi\u0107.<\/p>\n

Brojni glazbenici, plesne skupine i performeri koji podr\u017eavaju odr\u017eiv na\u010din \u017eivljenja te za\u0161titu i prava \u017eivotinja izmjenjivat \u0107e se oba dana, tijekom 22- satnoga glazbeno-scenskoga programa, na pozornici i \u010ditavome Trgu bana Jela\u010di\u0107a na kojem se odr\u017eava ZeGeVege festival.<\/p>\n

Restorani s prigodnom veganskom ponudom, besplatni kozmeti\u010dki i frizerski tretmani, razne degustacije i promotivne prodaje, radionice kuhanja, ekolo\u0161ke inovacije, predavanja, dje\u010dji kutak s radionicama za najmla\u0111e, projekcije dokumentarnih filmova, nagradna igra, tombola i sli\u010dno dovoljna su jamstva svim posjetiteljima da \u0107e im 7. ZeGeVege festival ponuditi dobru zabavu i dvodnevno dru\u017eenje, uz mogu\u0107nost informiranja o odr\u017eivom na\u010dinu \u017eivljenja.<\/p>\n

Ovaj jedinstven festival u Hrvatskoj, na kojem se izla\u017eu i promoviraju isklju\u010divo proizvodi biljnog podrijetla, promi\u010de odr\u017eivo \u017eivljenje, odnosno na\u010din \u017eivota kojim se pri kori\u0161tenju prirodnih resursa ne naru\u0161avaju okoli\u0161, \u017eivot ostalih \u017eivotinja i dobrobit drugih ljudi. Takav na\u010din \u017eivljenja dugoro\u010dno omogu\u0107ava opstanak biljnih i \u017eivotinjskih vrsta, bioraznolikost, prirodnu ravnote\u017eu i miran su\u017eivot svih \u017eivih bi\u0107a na planetu.<\/p>\n

Ove godine o\u010dekuju se i izlaga\u010di iz Njema\u010dke, Austrije, Slovenije i Srbije, svi posjetitelji dobit \u0107e edukativnu bro\u0161uru, a svoj rad predstavit \u0107e i neprofitne udruge i ekolo\u0161ki obiteljski poljoprivrednici. ZeGeVege festival dio je me\u0111unarodne manifestacije Veganmanija koja se odr\u017eava u Be\u010du, M\u00fcnchenu i u jo\u0161 petnaest drugih europskih gradova.<\/p>\n
