ZeGeVege festival, uz mno\u0161tvo zanimljivosti, prava je prigoda za nau\u010diti ne\u0161to novo o odr\u017eivom \u017eivljenju i veganskoj prehrani. Odr\u017eivo \u017eivljenje je na\u010din \u017eivota kojim se pri kori\u0161tenju prirodnih resursa ne naru\u0161avaju okoli\u0161, \u017eivot \u017eivotinja i dobrobit ljudi. Takav na\u010din \u017eivljenja dugoro\u010dno omogu\u0107ava opstanak biljnih i \u017eivotinjskih vrsta, bioraznolikost, prirodnu ravnote\u017eu i miran su\u017eivot svih \u017eivih bi\u0107a na planetu.<\/p>\n

ZeGeVege festival je edukativnog karaktera i organizira ga na neprofitnoj osnovi udruga Prijatelji \u017eivotinja. Na podru\u010dju cijelog Trga bana Jela\u010di\u0107a na\u0107i \u0107e se vi\u0161e od stotinu izlaga\u010da, \u0161est restorana, \u0161ator s predavanjima i radionicama, pozornica s cjelodnevnim programom. Osim mno\u0161tva dobre veganske hrane poput vege \u0107evapa, burgera od konoplje, gula\u0161a, kebaba, sirovih torti i sladoleda, bit \u0107e prilike i za isprobavanje obu\u0107e izra\u0111ene od ne\u017eivotinjskih materijala te tehnologije virtualne stvarnosti.<\/p>\n

Od brojnih predavanja mogu se izdvojiti nutricionisti\u010dko predavanje o veganstvu u trudno\u0107i i djetinjstvu, predavanje o povezanosti ekologije i hrane i predavanja o povezanosti veganstva i feminizma. Na radionicama \u0107e se mo\u0107i saznati kako pripremiti slasna jela s pala\u010dinkama bez jaja, sirove slastice i sli\u010dno. Posjetitelje o\u010dekuje i \u0161minkanje s veganskom kozmetikom, nagradna igra, a dijelit \u0107e se i veganski kondomi!<\/p>\n

Broj vegetarijanaca i vegana neprestano raste, pa tako u Hrvatskoj ima vi\u0161e od 160 tisu\u0107a ljudi koji se tako hrane, a velika ve\u0107ina gra\u0111ana podr\u017eava ovaj rastu\u0107i pokret i, naravno, voli pojesti dobar veganski obrok. Kako jo\u0161 uvijek sve javne institucije nemaju osiguran veganski obrok za osobe koje ga zatra\u017ee, posjetitelji \u0107e mo\u0107i potpisati peticiju i tako se aktivirati i glede ljudskih prava.<\/p>\n

Na ZeGeVege festivalu predstavit \u0107e se i brojne udruge \u010diji rad je povezan s odr\u017eivim \u017eivljenjem, a svaki posjetitelj oti\u0107i \u0107e s bro\u0161urom u kojoj su recepti te korisne i zanimljive informacije.<\/p>\n

On September 2 and 3 at the ZeGeVege Festival, besides many interesting things, there is a real opportunity to learn something new about both sustainable living and a vegan diet. Sustainable living is a way of life in which natural resources are used without violation of the environment, lives of animals or well-being of people. Such a way of life enables the long-term survival of both plant and animal species, biodiversity, natural harmony, and peaceful coexistence of living beings on the planet.<\/p>\n

ZeGeVege is an educational festival, and Animal Friends association organizes it on a non-profit basis. In the whole area around The Ban Jelacic Square there are more than one hundred exhibitions, six restaurants, a tent with lectures and workshops, and a stage with an all-day program. Along with marvelous vegan food, like cevaps, hempburgers, ghoulash, kebab, raw cakes and ice-cream, there’s also the chance to try on cruelty-free shoes (made of non-animal products), as well as virtual reality technology.<\/p>\n

Out of the numerous lectures, we can highlight the nutritionist lecture about veganism during pregnancy and childhood, the lecture about the ecology and food interconnection, and the lecture about interconnections between veganism and feminism. At the workshops, one can learn how to prepare delicious pancake meals without eggs, raw cakes, and the like. The visitors can also expect a vegan make-up station and a prize contest. In addition, vegan condoms will be distributed!<\/p>\n

The number of vegetarians and vegans is incessantly growing — there are more than 160,000 of those who eat that way, including a great majority of citizens who support this rising movement, and, of course, love to eat a satisfying vegan meal. Given that many public institutions still don’t provide vegan meals for those requesting them, visitors will be able to sign a petition and push for greater human rights.<\/p>\n

Many associations with business related to sustainable living will be represented at ZeGeVege Festival, and each visitor will leave with a brochure with recipes and useful, interesting information.<\/p>\n

ZeGeVege Festival has exceptional support from a number of institutions. For example, the minister of agriculture<\/strong>, Davor Romic, will be at the Festival on September 2nd to greet all the visitors.<\/p>\n
