Na ovogodi\u0161njem ZeGeVege festivalu 7. i 8. rujna 2018. na zagreba\u010dkome Trgu bana Jela\u010di\u0107a sudjelovat \u0107e i poseban gost \u2013 Dan Richardson, britanski glumac i producent, vegan, zagovornik o\u010duvanja \u017eivotinjskih vrsta i do\u017eivotni ambasador ugledne me\u0111unarodne zaklade Born Free<\/em> koja promi\u010de politiku o\u010duvanja vrsta i prava \u017eivotinja.<\/p>\n

Svoj dolazak na popularan hrvatski festival ovaj strastveni aktivist najavljuje jumbo<\/em> plakatima s porukama: \u201eKada ka\u017eem dobrota, mislim na veganstvo\u201d i \u201eKada ka\u017eem pravda, mislim na veganstvo\u201d. Iste poruke, ali i na engleskom jeziku, dijelit \u0107e se putem dru\u0161tvenih mre\u017ea.<\/p>\n

U kvalitetnom dvodnevnom programu od \u010dak 22 atraktivne radionice kuhanja i predavanja na ZeGeVegeu, Dan Richardson odr\u017eat \u0107e u petak 7. rujna 2018. u 20 sati predavanje \u201eZa\u0161to sam postao vegan?\u201d kroz koje \u0107e objasniti svoje motive za prelazak na veganstvo i \u0161to mu ono zna\u010di. Jo\u0161 jedan od razloga njegova dolaska u Zagreb je snimanje dokumentarnog filma o veganskom pokretu u svijetu, u koji \u017eeli uklju\u010diti i Hrvatsku.<\/p>\n

Tako\u0111er, tijekom boravka u Zagrebu, Richardson \u0107e, u organizaciji izdava\u010dke ku\u0107e Planetopija, predstaviti svoj rad na za\u0161titi prava \u017eivotinja i novu knjigu u izdanju te izdava\u010dke ku\u0107e \u2013 \u201eKako postati vegan\u201d. Rije\u010d je o knjizi punoj korisnih podataka, savjeta i recepata, koja \u0107e svakome olak\u0161ati prijelaz na veganstvo, neovisno \u017eeli li biti vegan zbog dobrobiti \u017eivotinja, okoli\u0161a, odr\u017eivosti ili zdravlja. Nema bolje osobe za predstaviti ovu izvrsnu knjigu od nadahnjuju\u0107eg glumca koji ka\u017ee da je okrutnost prema \u017eivotinjama tema koja ima najdublji utjecaj na njega: \u201eAko imate u sebi suosje\u0107anje, jednom kada pogledate i prihvatite realnost, ona \u0107e promijeniti va\u0161 um zauvijek. Besplatna predavanja i radionice redovito privla\u010de posjetitelje iz cijele Hrvatske, ali i iz susjednih dr\u017eava. Nitko ne propu\u0161ta ni vi\u0161e od stotinu \u0161tandova s ponudom izlaga\u010da zdrave hrane, ekoproizvoda i kozmetike koja nije testirana na \u017eivotinjama, restorane koji mame mirisima odli\u010dne veganske hrane, brojne degustacije, edukativne i aktivisti\u010dke sadr\u017eaje i zabavne plesne to\u010dke!\u201d<\/p>\n

– The compassionate actor will give a talk and also film his documentary on veganism in Croatia<\/p>\n

On this year’s ZeGeVege Festival, which will take place on September 7 and 8 on Ban Jelacic Square in Zagreb, there will be a special guest – Dan Richardson, British actor and producer, vegan, wildlife conservation advocate and a lifelong ambassador of the esteemed international Born Free Foundation which promotes policies on wildlife conservation and animal rights.<\/p>\n

The activist is announcing his arrival to this popular Croatian festival via billboards with messages: “When I say kindness, I mean veganism.” and “When I say justice, I mean veganism.” These same messages will be shared on social media.<\/p>\n

As a part of the high-quality two-day programme with as many as 22 cooking workshops and talks on the ZeGeVege festival, Dan Richardson will give a talk titled “Why I became a vegan” on Friday, September 7 2018 at 8PM. With this lecture, he will elaborate on his motives for switching to veganism and what it means to him. One other reason for his coming to Croatia is the filming of a documentary on the vegan movement in the world, in which he wants to include Croatia as well.<\/p>\n

Also, while staying in Zagreb, Richardson will present his work on the protection of animal rights and the new book “How To Go Vegan: The Why, the How, and Everything You Need to Make Going Vegan Easy”, published by Planetopija, who also organize the presentation. It is a book full of useful information, advice and recipes, which will make everyone’s transition to veganism easier, whether this person wants to become a vegan because of animal welfare, the environment, sustainability or health. There is no better person to present this excellent book than the inspiring actor who says that animal cruelty is the topic which has the deepest impact on him: “If you have empathy within you, once you see and accept reality, it will change your mind forever. At that moment, your empathy will control your choices… and that will change the world.”<\/p>\n
