ZeGeVege Festival, famous for its bright and positive atmosphere will open on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 10 A.M. with a short welcome speech by Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic.<\/p>\n This unique festival in Croatia is praised and distinctive for the fact that only products of plant-based origin are displayed and promoted along with products that have not been tested on animals and products friendly to the environment. The festival is dedicated to healthy and sustainable living as well as the welfare of people, the environment and animals.<\/p>\n This year’s ZeGeVege Festival is record breaking because over 70 exhibitors of healthy foods, ecological products and cosmetics not tested on animals will introduce themselves. Foreign exhibitors will also be present in addition to holders of V-label and various associations and humanitarian and ecological initiatives. Two restaurants will offer meals made out of ingredients of plant-based origin, and delicious hempburghers and a tempting German exhibitor’s vegan kebab should also be pointed out. Another piece of news is an additional program behind the stage that will consist of cooking workshops, presentations, short lectures, video projections and similar educational content.<\/p>\n The things that visitors will find especially interesting are a raffle with plenty of valuable and attractive prizes, eco fruit juice and a vegan beer stand. There will also be 20,000 educational brochures given out. Additionally, ZeGeVege Festival will offer plant-based dog and cat food, free beauty treatments, numerous tasting events, ecological innovations, a children\u2019s corner with eco program and other interesting things.<\/p>\n The jolly and diverse program on the stage will be taken care of by over 30 performers of diverse music styles, dance acts and workshops, from Kikici, Dino Jelusic, Bojan Jambrosic, Carla Belovari, Radio Luxemburg band to Picksiebner, IFEEL, Kanzdija, dance act Atomic Dance Factory and many others.<\/p>\n Animal Friends invites everyone to not miss the excellent
