The President of the Republic of Croatia to be at the ZeGeVege Festival!
Mr Ivo Josipovic, the President of the Republic of Croatia, will visit the 7th ZeGeVege Festival of sustainable living on Saturday, September 6, 2014. Last year President Josipovic showed his support for the ZeGeVege Festival by organizing a vegan lunch at the President’s residence and this year he will support it again by visiting the ZeGeVege Festival at Trg bana Jelacica, the central Zagreb square in Zagreb.

Within the ZeGeVege Festival grounds at Trg bana Jelacica, the central Zagreb square, you will find a recycling spot/recycling depot. Get information and learn how to properly recycle and dispose of waste into recycling containers provided for plastic, paper, tin or aluminum cans, glass and biodegradable waste. Films about animal rights and sustainable living!
In between talks and workshops at this year’s ZeGeVege Festival you’ll be able to watch interesting films on Animal Rights and Sustainable Living. Apart from short videos on Veganism, Carnism, Doctors’ viewpoints on meat consumption and an Animated Short video on nutrition and the environment. You’ll also see a convincing message by Phillip Wollen on the necessary changes needed. We also recommend feature films telling the hidden truth behind meat production and the dairy industry. The talks “The Bomb is Ticking” and “The Best Speech You Will Ever Hear”, will inspire many and encourages changes to eating habits so as to contribute to a healthy and sustainable world for us and all living beings.
