Over 40,000 visitors, 32 performers and 75 exhibitors from last year’s ZeGeVege festival are guaranteed to be at this year’s 7th ZeGeVege Festival of Sustainable Living.
Friday September 5, 2014 (9 A.M. – 9 P.M.) and Saturday September 6, 2014 (9 A.M. – 7 P.M.) are good days to be in Zagreb, because it is time for a festival that celebrates life! This international event is interesting, fun and educational, and important in promoting sustainable living, i.e. the welfare of people, the environment and animals.
Over 80 domestic and foreign exhibitors of healthy food, eco products and cosmetics that have not been tested on animals will be at this year’s two day ZeGeVege Festival for the first time. The festival will be visited on Friday by Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic, and on Saturday by Croatian president Ivo Josipovic.
Numerous musicians, dance groups and performers that support sustainable living and animal rights will rotate each day, during a 22-hour musical and entertainment program on stage and throughout Trg bana Jelacica where ZegeVege Festival is held.
Restaurants offering vegan meals, free beauty and hair treatments, a variety of sampling and promotional sales, cooking workshops, eco-innovations, lectures, a children’s corner with workshops for children, screenings of documentaries, a raffle and the like guarantee to all visitors that the seventh ZeGeVege Festival will offer them good entertainment and a two-day gathering, with the possibility of obtaining information about sustainable living.
This unique festival in Croatia, where products exclusively of plant-based origin are exhibited and supported, promotes sustainable living, and a way of life that does not harm the environment, the life of other animals and the welfare of other people. In the long term, this way of life enables the survival of plant and animal species, biodiversity, natural balance and peaceful coexistence between all living beings on the planet.
This year, exhibitors from Germany, Austria, Slovenia and Serbia are also expected. All visitors will receive an educational brochure, and the work of non-profit organizations and environmental family farmers will also be presented. ZeGeVege Festival is part of the international event Veganmania held in Vienna, Munich and fifteen other European cities.
ZeGeVege Festival is organized by Animal Friends on a non-profit basis. Therefore we invite everyone interested in volunteering at the ZeGeVege Festival to complete an application form at www.zegevege.com.

Više od 40.000 posjetitelja, 32 izvođača i 75 izlagača s prošlogodišnjeg ZeGeVege festivala jamstvo su i preporuka zašto bi trebalo posjetiti ovogodišnji 7. ZeGeVege festival održivog življenja.
Petak, 5. rujna (9-21 sat) i subota, 6. rujna (9-19 sati) 2014. godine dani su kada je dobro biti u Zagrebu jer vrijeme je za festival koji slavi život! Ova međunarodna manifestacija zanimljiva je, zabavna i edukativna te značajna u promicanju održivog načina življenja, odnosno dobrobiti ljudi, okoliša i životinja.
Preko 80 domaćih i inozemnih izlagača zdrave hrane, ekoloških proizvoda i kozmetike koja nije testirana na životinjama predstavit će se na ovogodišnjem dvodnevnom ZeGeVege festivalu kojeg će u petak posjetiti gradonačelnik grada Zagreba Milan Bandić, a u subotu predsjednik Republike Hrvatske Ivo Josipović.
Brojni glazbenici, plesne skupine i performeri koji podržavaju održiv način življenja te zaštitu i prava životinja izmjenjivat će se oba dana, tijekom 22- satnoga glazbeno-scenskoga programa, na pozornici i čitavome Trgu bana Jelačića na kojem se održava ZeGeVege festival.
Restorani s prigodnom veganskom ponudom, besplatni kozmetički i frizerski tretmani, razne degustacije i promotivne prodaje, radionice kuhanja, ekološke inovacije, predavanja, dječji kutak s radionicama za najmlađe, projekcije dokumentarnih filmova, nagradna igra, tombola i slično dovoljna su jamstva svim posjetiteljima da će im 7. ZeGeVege festival ponuditi dobru zabavu i dvodnevno druženje, uz mogućnost informiranja o održivom načinu življenja.
Ovaj jedinstven festival u Hrvatskoj, na kojem se izlažu i promoviraju isključivo proizvodi biljnog podrijetla, promiče održivo življenje, odnosno način života kojim se pri korištenju prirodnih resursa ne narušavaju okoliš, život ostalih životinja i dobrobit drugih ljudi. Takav način življenja dugoročno omogućava opstanak biljnih i životinjskih vrsta, bioraznolikost, prirodnu ravnotežu i miran suživot svih živih bića na planetu.
Ove godine očekuju se i izlagači iz Njemačke, Austrije, Slovenije i Srbije, svi posjetitelji dobit će edukativnu brošuru, a svoj rad predstavit će i neprofitne udruge i ekološki obiteljski poljoprivrednici. ZeGeVege festival dio je međunarodne manifestacije Veganmanija koja se održava u Beču, Münchenu i u još petnaest drugih europskih gradova.
