On Friday, September 6, 2013 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. and on Saturday September 7, 2013 from 9 A.M. until 5 P.M., at Trg bana Jelacica in Zagreb, the 6th ZeGeVege Festival of Sustainable Living will take place within the famous international Veganmania event. ZeGeVege Festival, famous for its bright and positive atmosphere will open on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 10 A.M. with a short welcome speech by Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic.
This unique festival in Croatia is praised and distinctive for the fact that only products of plant-based origin are displayed and promoted along with products that have not been tested on animals and products friendly to the environment. The festival is dedicated to healthy and sustainable living as well as the welfare of people, the environment and animals.
This year’s ZeGeVege Festival is record breaking because over 70 exhibitors of healthy foods, ecological products and cosmetics not tested on animals will introduce themselves. Foreign exhibitors will also be present in addition to holders of V-label and various associations and humanitarian and ecological initiatives. Two restaurants will offer meals made out of ingredients of plant-based origin, and delicious hempburghers and a tempting German exhibitor’s vegan kebab should also be pointed out. Another piece of news is an additional program behind the stage that will consist of cooking workshops, presentations, short lectures, video projections and similar educational content.
The things that visitors will find especially interesting are a raffle with plenty of valuable and attractive prizes, eco fruit juice and a vegan beer stand. There will also be 20,000 educational brochures given out. Additionally, ZeGeVege Festival will offer plant-based dog and cat food, free beauty treatments, numerous tasting events, ecological innovations, a children’s corner with eco program and other interesting things.
The jolly and diverse program on the stage will be taken care of by over 30 performers of diverse music styles, dance acts and workshops, from Kikici, Dino Jelusic, Bojan Jambrosic, Carla Belovari, Radio Luxemburg band to Picksiebner, IFEEL, Kanzdija, dance act Atomic Dance Factory and many others.
Animal Friends invites everyone to not miss the excellent ZeGeVege atmosphere, and the opportunity to explore the diverse offer on stalls, enjoy the 20 hours worth of musical and theatrical program and get useful information about sustainable living while having a good time.

U petak, 6. rujna 2013. od 9 do 21 sat i u subotu, 7. rujna 2013. od 9 do 17 sati, na Trgu bana Jelačića u Zagrebu održat će se 6. ZeGeVege festival održivog življenja, u sklopu poznatog međunarodnog festivala Veganmanija. ZeGeVege festival, poznat po svojem vedrom i pozitivnom ozračju, otvorit će u petak, 6. rujna 2013. u 10 sati, kratkim pozdravnim govorom gradonačelnik Milan Bandić.
Ovaj jedinstven festival u Hrvatskoj cijenjen je i prepoznatljiv po tome što se na njemu izlažu i promoviraju isključivo proizvodi biljnog podrijetla, proizvodi koji nisu testirani na životinjama i proizvodi prijateljski prema okolišu, a posvećen je zdravom i održivom življenju te dobrobiti ljudi, okoliša i životinja.
Ovogodišnji ZeGeVege festival rekordan je jer će se na njemu predstaviti više od 70 izlagača zdrave hrane, ekoloških proizvoda i kozmetike koja nije testirana na životinjama. Bit će prisutni i inozemni izlagači, nositelji V-oznake, razne udruge te humanitarne i ekološke inicijative. Obroke od namirnica biljnog podrijetla nudit će dva restorana, a treba istaknuti ukusne burgere od konoplje i primamljiv veganski kebab njemačkog izlagača. Novost je i dodatni program iza pozornice koji će se sastojati od radionica kuhanja, prezentacija, kratkih predavanja, video projekcija i sličnih edukativnih sadržaja.
Posjetiteljima će biti posebno zanimljiva tombola s mnoštvom vrijednih i atraktivnih nagrada, štand s eko voćnim sokovima i veganskim pivom, a podijelit će se i 20.000 edukativnih brošura. U ponudi ZeGeVege festivala bit će i biljna hrana za pse i mačke, besplatni kozmetički tretmani, brojne degustacije, ekološke inovacije, dječji kutak s eko programom i druge zanimljivosti.
Za veseo i raznovrstan program na pozornici pobrinut će se više od 30 izvođača najrazličitijih glazbenih stilova, plesnih točaka i radionica, od Kikića, Dine Jelusića preko Bojana Jambrošića, Carle Belovari, grupe Radio Luksemburg do Picksiebnera, IFEEL-a, Kandžije, plesne grupe Atomic Dance Factory i mnogih drugih.
Prijatelji životinja pozivaju sve da ne propuste odličnu ZeGeVege atmosferu te da, uz raznovrsnu ponudu na štandovima i tijekom 20-satnog glazbeno-scenskoga programa, dobiju korisne informacije o održivom načinu življenja i usput se dobro zabave.
